How to check 02 Sensors?
#3
Very simple if you have access to an OBDII Scanner, or tuner which can give you the voltage reading of your HSO21 and HS022. The voltage should fluctuate fairly rapidly to a maximum of 8 I belive (Someone correct me if I'm wrong).
Also, if you're getting a check engine light resulting in a Catalyst Efficiency code, chances are (If the problem is not actually fouling of one of both of your catalytic converters) that your downstream O2(s) is/are to blame.
Don't fret, the downstream does not effect your A/F ratio.
This is all well and good if you do in fact have access to a scanner.. If not, should not be hard to obtain a quick scan from possibly a local speed shop/garage/friend with a tuner
Will at least get you on the right track.
