HELP!!! yellow plug in transmission pan

Default HELP!!! yellow plug in transmission pan

we took athe tranny pan off to replace tranny fluid, but there was a yellow plug like think in the bottom of the pan, it has like a black O ring around it, does anybody know what it is or where it goes?

HELP PLEASE

No worries dude, its mostlikly the plug that was in the dipstick, and your the 1st person to drop the pan... Post a pic ne way, but I'm sure that's what it is...if so its trash

just take it out and put it in you tool box. it was originally put in the dipstick hole during the manufactoring process and when they stuck the dipstick in the transmission that falls into the pan. now the reason i told u to put it in ur toolbox is b/c if u have to take the transmission out for any reason u can put it back into the dipstick hole to keep from making a mess.
