Yeah, you can add it anytime.........that's what most people do. The want 400rwhp, then want more so they build the shortblock, then want more, so they up the boost and add the intercooler.

That's what I did, except I "HAD" to build the shortblock because I got greedy!

As everyone says you can add a cooler anytime... it is always a great idea since it will lower your intake temps and when you want more power after you get to 400...lol.. you have all the good parts to start with...
