Well I can hear it, and you can definately hear it in person

Thats the thing, I don't hear anything really coming from the valve covers either. I can hear it when I listen to the headers if that means anything (might be an exhaust leak, but idk)

That is the way these 4.6's are. You hear a knock in one place and it's coming from another.

Well when I take the belt off I should be able to pinpoint it hopefully.

im not sure what taking the belt off is going to do besides stop coolant flow . the sound in your vid sounds like a bad exhaust leak, but could be in the bottom end its hard to tell. if the car was fine before and it just started all the sudden and only under load, i would rule out the transmission. you could install a magnetic drain plug, then drive it for awhile and pull it back out to check for metal. or you could take a sample of your used oil and send it to a lab to have it checked for how much percentage of metal is in it. then you compare that with recommended levels. or you could just take it to ford and pay them to diagnose the problem

Try finding a sound in your engine bay with a V1 whining in your ear lol, that is why I am taking the belt off. If there is less noise in there it will make it easier to find.

Lash adjuster. 100% guaranteed. You have the exact same knock as I do and I just found 6 bad lash adjusters on the passenger side and I have more on the drivers side to fix.
