Default ? about crankshaft and piston change

i wanted to see if anyone has changed the pistons and crankshaft with out pulling the motor out,wouldnt it be possible to do or is there to much in the way, as im typing this im thinking the front suspention would be in the way but to cold to go out and look, thanks

thats what i figured the more i thought about it,i'll prob just buy a built block and borrow a engine puller.
