knocking sound when turning

Default knocking sound when turning
I have a knocking sound in my front suspension when i am turning. it is usually when turning tighter turns. My tires arent rubbing and someone says it happens a lot on mustangs, what is it most likely and is it an easy fix??

find the steering stops on the lower control arm where the spindle rides and put some grease on it.its probably got a pocket worn into it causing the noise.

I get the same thing hanging U- turns. Thought my tires were rubbing inner plastic fenderwells. Thanks for the tip Dr.Diesel..
