Yeah, now that i think about it, it would probably generate more response in the general discussion area.

When i get the idle lowered, i'll get a close up on the tail pipes too (to capture more of the cams) and do some WOT runs and what not.

I must say that i love the way that cams sound at idle...but i dont like the sound of them when you rev the motor freely and on the decel. Just saying. Awesome that you got cams. Cant wait for the drag strip review of them!!!

Thank guys!

Matt, i did the install with a buddy of mine that has done these mod motors before, top to bottom. It was a total pita with the adjustable crank gears, degree wheel, dial indicator, etc...all with the damn motor in the car lol.

Teej, i'm hoping to get to the track soon. That will be the true test. All's i can say for now is that it pulls much harder after 5,000 rpm, and hits 6,000 with no falling off at all. I REALLY need to rev it higher.

Hey, where's your idle set at if you don't mind my asking? I'm thinking somewhere between 750-850 will be best for me.

You have the MRT catted h with flows IIRC right? I have a catted h with my setup, and while it makes the cams sound deep and bassy, it definitely doesn't have the sharp chop that some have with a o/r pipe. It's more lopey than choppy, if that makes sense lol.

I HAD the MRT catted h...i want it back though haha. Im lookin for a catted h to possible trade for my catted x pipe. Teej had a buddy that may be wants to trade cuz he only uses his catted h for inspections. But i haven't heard from him yet.

But yea ik what you mean, like my dads car is CHOPPY w/ the cutout kinda open, and when its all the way open watch out haha.

Nice work, Rod.

You going to get some really sticky tires and shoot for high 12s on motor and flat 12s on the gas?
