Default Fuel system from legal performance

I bought a new fuel system with a regulator, new lines, new hat, and dual supercar fuel pumps. I want to know if i can install this now even though i dont need it yet. Will the regulator make it so i would be ok and adjustable?

Are you converting to a return style system?

If you are staying returnless you can install the pumps and run the car. You can't run WOT under 1/2 or 1/4 tank of fuel with the stock tank. You either need an 03/04 cobra tank or install some sort of baffle in your stock tank to run below 1/2-1/4 tank of fuel.

Also with those pumps you need an upgraded FPDM.

So you already have a non-stock return-style fuel system? If so then why would installing another non-stock return type system cause you such concern?

No, i currently have the stock system on there but i purchased a return style and want to know if i can install it now. It has dual pumps and i didnt know if i can just adjust the regulator because i am not sure. I have a procharger but only at 8 psi because i didnt forge the engine yet. I am saving for that. I was just wondering if i could have the fuel system installed now.

Sounds like you went a little over kill on the fuel system. If you purchased a return style system you can ditch the FPDM for a relay, but the tune has to be modified for any of these changes. For what you have now an SCT Focus pump or the stock pump with a BAP would be fine.

The reason i bought the fuel system is i plan to upgrade the procharger to an F1a so would need something better. I was just wondering if it could be installed now or if i had to wait. Thanks

I think dual supercar pumps will handle a lot of power even if you keep your stock returnless system. Again, to do this you need an upgraded FPDM. I would think about this unless you're planning on huge numbers.

But if you are converting to return style I also think you need tuning changes.
