Last night inserted a CD upside down (I'm guessing) in the dark. Unit tried to read it, but failing began to eject CD automatically. Ejection failed and gave error, "CD error slot 4". I then tried the eject button selecting slot 4. That attempt failed after 3 tries.

Now the CD player won't play tho I have other CDs in the unit. Saw on another forum that owner fixed this by ejecting the CDs MANUALLY. Does anyone know how to eject them manually?

the other forum is dead since it was posted 2.5 years ago.

Please don't tell me to just replace the unit. That's not an option.

Mine does it all the time. Just take the radio out, and take the top of the player, and you should be able to slide the disc out, or at least the bad one.
