White smoke after oil change
Car never smokes or shows any signs of head gasket failure. I do have a small coolant leak at radiator but oil and coolant look normal. I drive the car around to warm it up, drive it on some ramps and do an oil change with 5.5 qts. I back it off the ramps and it started smoking like hell for about 10 seconds. White smoke. I brought the revs up and it stopped smoking, but im just confused what would cause this. It hasn't smoked since. I guess what I'm getting at is...is there something about the way I changed the oil that would cause this?? Because the car has never done this otherwise and hasn't done it again. This was smoke out the tailpipes. There was no spills or anything on the exhaust so it wasn't just a spill burning off.

eh maybe just pcv as stated. If it continues i would also look into your valve seals. Im pretty sure if it smokes on startup all the time its the valve seals and if it smokes constantly all the time its blowing by the rings or vice versa dont quote me on that haha. I just remeber it being something like that maybe someone else could clear that up. But like everyone else said i wouldnt get too worried unless it keeps happening
