Default weird idle

after school today my car ran fine, getting on highway and cruising, but when i got on the exit ramp and came to a stop i noticed my car was jerking like it had a bigger cam in it without a stall converter (yes, it's still stock engine) however i'm running without CATS and my Diablosport tuner gave me a code which read "catalyst system efficiency below threshold (bank1)" it also gave me one for bank2... i was thinking it's either a fuel problem or TPS going bad? any help is greatly appreciated

iac valves are common problems with our cars, you can try to clean it or just replace it for $25

well my tuner threw 4 codes at me, the major one i noticed said my engine was running too lean, i was thinking it's either the injectors, fuel rails, or pump? any knowledge of how common they go out? she has 99,600 miles on her and would like to make it to 100,000 (actually 150,000) thanks.

they are very common to go out. they are 95% of the idle problems with our cars. if your car is driving fine other than idle, its probably your IAC valve.

and FYI, you cannot clean them per ford. some people spray them off with carb cleaner and they work after that but its likely just a bandaid fix and delays the failure another couple miles. and they are more like 70 bucks atleast from ford.

your motor should last you well over 150k miles FYI. if you have a tuner why havent you turned your cats off? which codes did it shoot out?

well i cleaned out the IAC valve and still am receiving the same problem
i came up with the codes: P1130, P1150, P0171, P0174
i went to the obd2 code site and they said to clean out the MAF sensor, so ima do that today and see if it fixes the problem

read my other post...... you cannot clean the IAC. its not a fix. sometimes it works temporarily for people but theres no guarantee.
