What Shocks/Struts/Springs setup

You might need $14 worth of tools...
A 12mm wrench, a 15mm wrench, and maybe one other one. A socket wrench and a couple attachments would help as well...
But anyway, the bullitt kit would be the best budget setup. Increased handling while still being fine for daily

Same kit for quite a bit less, and just for reference here is another thread about the same kit, with opinions from people who have used tokico.. It's the same Kit I'm going to be gettin in a month or two.. Sounds like its worth the $ for sure...

Not trying to be smartass, but I would say go to Sears, get the $200 socket setup from Craftsman, and that'll help you do projects in the long run as well. I'm not the greatest with some of this stuff and was able to do it.

The high performance dampers such as the tokico D-specs? Is that what you are referring to? Or the illumina's?
The tokico HP shocks/struts are basically the same thing as the bullitt/mach 1 stock dampers. But i have heard that the HP's are valved a little bit better than the stockers on the machs/bullitts...
The tokico d-specs are fully adjustable and are more of an intermediate track setup damper or an aggressive daily setup.
The illuminas are adjustable i believe, but they are drag oriented.
If you are looking for max performance, go with bilstein HD's or koni yellows. If you are looking for a damper that is better than stock, yet still rides great, go with that whole tokico kit wiht the HP's and the springs that come with it. Or get some springs like eibach or H&R SS and get those Koni str's or w/e they are called. I hear those things are awesome for the price
