Default 02 saleen no make boost, help!

I'm looking at a kenne bell'd saleen mustang right now, test driving it the other day i noticed it really wasnt making boost. i wouldnt want to chance it buying a car that has a huge problem, the car has 12xxx miles on it. after talking to some of my buddies we decided it was probably a tune issue, being that the last owner just yanked the tune with their tuner and sold that as well. what are some other things it could be? i'm curious because if i can pinpoint what it is i might be willing to buy the car with the boost issue, at a discounted price, and fix it myself. thanks in advance.

So it's a KB'd car with no tune? Could be a number of things wrong other than just not making boost.

How do you know it wasn't making boost?

One of the easiest ways to do this is to wire-tie the bypass valve open. It is normally held open by manifold vacuum until the vacuum falls to 4-5inHg. Tying it open will prevent the blower from making any boost (or maybe just a little).
No reason to be posting the same crap in different sections, chief.

Hope you get it figured out!
