Ok guys, I know its been a while since Ive been around but I need some help. I know Ive seen the answer before around here but I cant find it for the life of me. Im looking for the axle length from flange to flange across the years for the 8.8. Im looking to drop an 8.8 into another project, but I need to figure out the lengths to see if any come close without modifying.

lizzyfan's chart is neat, but not exactly what you asked for. You can add the length of the right and left axle shaft together, plus 7/8" or whatever for the cross-pin and you'll be very close to the full flange to flange width.

Its missing a lot of years too... anyone have a measurement from axle flange to flange on a fox, sn95, new edge, and hell I'll even take a 197
