Default Traction Control Button Broken

Hello everyone, I own a 2000 Mustang GT. The traction control in the car is functioning, however, it is always turned on, and the button itself will not let me turn it off. Does anyone know what I should do to fix this problem? I've owned this car for about 2 months and its always been like that. Could it be a fuse problem? Or do i need to replace the button? Thanks in advanced.

Does the button move freely? I dont think a fuse would cause this. You can turn it off with a tuner, but that takes away the ability to turn it off and on at will. MAybe you can hunt a junkyard for another one. Or get a hold of a schematic and start back tracking it from the switch.

I think just your "off" bulb is burned out. Mines the same way. The traction control is automatically turned on everytime the car is started and you have to press the tcs button every time. Yes, I know, its annoying especially if you can't remember if you turned it on or off. They dont make just the bulbs anymore so you'll have to get a whole new switch for like $60 if your that bothered by it.
