MM caster/camber plate install question
Now that my car is lowered I took it to my mechanic to do an alignment and he said everything is good, but it would be better if I put the caster/camber plates in. I have the MM kit and was going to tackle this myself, but was wondering how difficult this would be. My mechanic can do it, but will charge me about $150. Any advise would be great.

Its not easy, but its not terrible if you take your time. The hardest part is lowering the strut tower down form the factory plates. I did it with a hydraulic jack and jack stands. You put the jack on the bottom of the A-arm, take the strut tower nut off and slowly lower it down. After that the MM kit instruction are pretty easy to follow. Just makes sure you put them in the right orientation, other wise you will not be able to get your chamber in the right spec. You can definitely do it in an afternoon. Good luck

The MM plates have a template online for the 96-04 cars. I found they don't align perfectly and you will have to trace a new template on with the plates with the holes. Again it is very easy. I think people get scared with the drilling, but it is nothing. Just take your time.
And I think the plates need to be in the negative orientation to get the proper alignment for street driving or something like that.
Overall it should take about an hour or so to do this.
