New Urethane trans mount/ noises?
After recent inspection and was able to push the tailshaft up and down .5-1 inch, I decided to upgrade with a new Urethane trans mount.
Bad boy is SOLID. But now hearing (alternator type) noise through the shifter when clutch is disengaged. When engaged, noise stops.
You can definitely feel the engine more throughout the whole car.
Is this normal?
I also came to the conclusion if my tranny mount was that bad, the engine mounts arent too far behind. With that said, I have new Urethane engine mounts waiting to be installed. Should this take care of some of the noise or just not matter?
Also did the steering rack "creak" fix. Much better now!

Also, I have noticed driving around with the new mount installed that the car doesnt feel as peppy; " light on her feet", as before. Maybe in my head?
I haven't gotten on it yet, I was going to wait until I installed the engine mounts to match.
