I have 2 1996 ford mustangs both are v6 one had a auto trans and the other had a 5 SPD .my problem is the car with the 5 SPD was wrecked so the other body which had a v6 and a auto tranny .I put my v6and 5spd in the auto tranny body .and the cross member does not bolt up to the 5spd tranny .so has anyone run into this before

 

Swap the cross member. The bodies should have the same mounting points
