Drivers seat busted up - HELP !
Hi there,
My 98 GT drivers seat is busted up. Must be the age of the car and me getting heavier. I am thinking of swapping out the passenger seat with the driver seat. The driver seat has power where the passenger is not. Does anyone know if i can swap it them. I don't care if the power seat works or not. Any comments (not about me being heavy) but can this be done. Any suggestions would do.
Thanks from a long time loyal Mustang driver.

It's the plastic trim housing around the bottom of the seat, that latches into the runners that determines if they are left or right.
if you can get them off that (will definitely have to pull both seats) plastic trim, it might be the only thing you would need to change.

I tried this on my stang, and they are not swappable... well not easily at least the pass and drivers seat buckets, and different in make up and design. I ended up going to a local junk yard, and picked up one out of a 2001 stang for $25.00
