Default New times after 8-rib swap

I finally made some passes today, after doing my 8-rib conversion nearly two months ago. It's really the first time (w/ the 8-rib setup) that I ran the car hard, with 7k poweshifts, etc. I was a little worried b/c I aligned the pulleys myself, and went against convention by spacing out the head unit rather than the bracket. But everything went fine, no thrown belts, no explosions, minimal belt dust.

This was my best pass:

60......1.513
330.....4.510
1/8......6.905
MPH.....98.77
1000...8.957
1/4.....10.659
MPH....133.26

330 and 1/8 times were new bests. I didn't beat my old best 1/4 ET and 1/4 MPH with the 6-rib set-up, but I am sure that will change when the air get colder. The only chance I had to look at the boost gauge was in 4th gear, and I saw 22 psi at 6800 rpms. This is with a 2.8" pulley and 10% OD crank. My 6-rib set-up gave good results but some days the belt slipped and I ran slower, while some days it didn't and I ran good times. I am hoping that the 8-rib set-up will be more consistent. My other passes today were a 10.837@133.58 and a 10.762@134.34. I still see a weird variation in 1/8 MPH, it jumps around from 96 to 103, while other stats are the same. I used to think it was some weird beltslip thing, but now that's ruled out.

No videos for this one, I was there alone. But I'll post photos of the timeslips once I scan them.

It's making major power, that's for sure!

It's definitely 9-second capable with quicker 60-foot times.

Other passes. As I mentioned earlier, the 1/8 MPH is really low sometimes. Other times, it is over 100 mph. Funny thing is that when it is 100+ mph, my 1/4 mile ET/MPH are not much different. Weird.
