Default TR3650 Output shaft seal

So I got a new clutch put in and it was leaking back there too for some time. They put the new one in and then it was fine and has been fine for about 6 months now. Then now I'm seeing the leak again in the same spot that its been (I know because I still have the stains in the garage) and i looked under the car and its dripping from the U-joint and the output shaft seal looks dry and leak-free. I've read that there is a bushing that goes inside that and failure to replace that would wear out the seals prematurely? Anyone got any insight in this? The leak is a slow drip nothing crazy.

Had the same issue. Just had it fixed this year. Had the bushing removed and replaced and new seal put in. So far so good.
