Default Why don't these intake gaskets appear anywhere online?

I was looking over the intake gaskets that came in my kit and they are not the same. I looked at the alternative kit to this one and they are not the same either. It seems as though not one auction I searched came up with these gaskets.

The biggest difference is that one hole is not shaped like the other three. Secondly the gaskets are replaced individually instead of on a strip.

Why are these gasket seals not available when searching intake gasket 4.6?

It seems like you're only looking on E-bay and you might not be usiing the same key words as the sellers.

Beyond that, nobody here can answer why nobody on E-bay is selling those gaskets. You'll have to ask them.

You should of asked, "Where can I get the correct intake gaskets?"

99-04 and 96-98 gaskets:

Do you have the original intake? Is it aftermarket?

Better yet, call and ask.

Thats a Dorman intake and you have to use Dorman gaskets....

You can find them on Autozone and Advance Auto websites.

Except for asking if you have an aftermarket intake. And showing you whast the two variations of stock gaskets look like. And pointing out you asked the wrong question in the first place.

Yeah, completely wrong.

Lotta butthurt in this forum. If you knew what you were looking at like the other guy did you wouldnt have pointed out completely wrong gaskets i had already said were not it. Man up sucka. He answered correctly and it was exactly what i needed, which you still didn't produce a correct answer yet. Lol. You're as stubborn as the other guy in another thread that won't let his pride down, but i don't give the slightest damn. You're just another user id on the interweb so either way is fine by me bub.

I can find the oil adapter plate to block, but I can't find the barrel part that the filter itself connects to and the coolant outlet is on. What is that round part called?

http://forums.corral.net/forums/gt-s...r-housing.html

The '98 unit is on the right, the '00 unit is on the left. The big honkin' thing is the oil cooler, which attaches on the adapter (just imagine the big thing sliding a bit to the left over the adapter). The coolant hose connects to the big tube at the bottom of the pic (which faces the front of the motor) in both cases, just with the oil cooler it connects to the cooler and without the cooler it just connects to the adapter. To do away with the cooler all you gotta do is replace the adapter with the non-cooler adapter.
So anyway I guess the round part itself doesn't seem to have a name of it's own, but more importantly if I can just eliminate the cooler part and use the non-cooler one that would be good too. Anyone want to confirm? I am having mixing issues in that cooler assembly.

I guess I am going to try a 1999 Lincon Town car plate adapter.
