screaming noise at 6k rpm
sometimes when im driving my automatic 2000 mustang gt (89k miles) i hear a screaming noise at high rpm until it falls back down. its like an annoying high pitched noise that lasts a second at high rpm. i dont want the car to end up breaking down, this is my first mustang gt and v8 and im not sure what it might be.
It was said to be all stock when i bought it a month ago.
I took it to the dealership and got a visual checkup done , they said that my belt was starting to wear out and my breaks needed to be replaced. everything else was fine.
Also, my exhaust pipe is bent ever since i got it, any ways to fix it? pics on bottom. pic of left and right exhaust. and both.

Screaming or screeching noise is likely the belt, they tend to screech at high rpm.
It looks like someone hit the tail pipe on the passenger side.
You can probly hammer the dent out of it but to straiten it is going to be tricky . You may be able to move it back over with a long wrecking bar or pipe but you most likely wont be able to get it lifted back up in place.

Yes Replace the belt, make sure to check all the pulley's for any play (movement) replace any that are worm out, this will fix the screeching.
The exhaust will be easy to pound the dents out of if you remove it, using a smaller piece of pipe and a hammer put the smaller pipe inside the bent one and use the hammer to work it straight again.
the bend will require you to use a smaller pipe inside to straighten it and use the same strategy to make it round again.
Or if money is no object then you could just replace it...
hope that helps

Another thing to look for when changing the belt if its squealing is burnt rubber in between the ribs of the pullys , squealing belts mean burning rubber and if it gets built up to bad no belt will be quiet.
