Stang wont start, fuel pump, relay, or ignition?
Every once in a while I go to start my car, it turns over fine, except it doesnt seem to fire. After cycling the key once or twice it seems to start. Now today it did it again, but now it wont start no matter how many times I do it. Its not the starter, so I'm wonder what the hell it could be. Could the relay in the trunk be faulty? I try to listen for the pump starting up but I can never really hear it anyway. Any suggestions. I checked the fuel pump fuse under the hood and it is fine.
Ive had this mustang for a year now, and it has done this about 4 times, but usually ends up starting. Is there a way to test the relay switch in the trunk? Is there something else electrical that could be keeping it from firing?
2004 GT 5- speed. 4.6 liter. 130,000 miles.
I guess I'll have to take the gas tank down tomorrow and test the fuel pump if no one has an answer.
Thanks in advance

samewith my 04. i think its all in the coding.. chipped key.. mine wont start at all now. 700 bucks in after market ignition (someone tried to steal it) new stearing rack etc. and the mechanics cant get it started. I think its the after market ignition... and the idiots they call mechanics. im a female watch me code it... the anti theft when tripped or just comes on.. shuts down the fuel line injectors etc. why does i do this? how do you by pass? and how do you code it with out taking it to the dealership?
