Hanging RPMs...sticky throttle?

Stock I assume; it's the stock TB anyway. But the screw doesn't have any kind of slot for a screwdriver or a wrench or anything. Not sure if it's like that from the factory? I found a load of info on checking and adjusting the TPS so that's going to be my next thing to look at. I think the screw is probably OK being that it does idle fine, but then I read some things that said that if it's backed out too far it will cause this problem.

yeah try lubing the tps also with a suitable chemical im not sure what is safe. mine had a spider egg laid in it lol. also. the adjustment screw doesnt have a slot per se. . . it will have a tiny hole for an allen key

Mine does the same thing sometimes, only at around 2000 rpms, I can let off and it will drive itself for a good 20 seconds and then suddenly go into decel mode. Sometimes it will get stuck if I start to slow down and hit the brakes and clutch and the rpms will just stay there while I'm at the stop sign or whatever then it just drops down to normal idle rate and I take off.
