cramming the 4.6L

I have a 2003 gt with the 4.6L and I was thinking about camming it.... But what exactly does the cam do how does it work... Does it increase HP or torque etc. Thanks

And yes it does increase hp and torque but if your looking for more performance there is cheaper easier ways to get it. Consider a gear change before engine work.

And yes it does increase horse power and torque but you might want to start your modding with a set of gears followed by some exhaust work. (Headers, X-pipe, Cat back) You'll get more out of those mods and their cheaper.
