Default Gear Lube

Im getting my FRPP 4.10 gear`s from mustangtuning soon. Im ordering the gears with the fluid and tuner. My question is, they sell the set with 75w90 synthetic fluid. My car requiers 75w140. Is it ok to go with the 75w90 without having problems later? The service tech at my local ford dealer said not to use anything other than whats specified in the manual. I kinda think its BS. I need to know from the guys that have 4.10`s what fluid they are using. Thanks for the feedback.

I used the 75w90 from Royalpurple. More expensive, but you only need 3 quarts so get the good shat!

^^^^^ That is what I also used when they installed my gears this week at the local performance shop and what the owner there suggested to be used.
