I run royal purple in my car. I hear it's a good oil but is there any other oil that you guys recommend. I really don't feel the difference in performance. Am I wasting money, performance wise, or should I just stick to a TV Brand Oil on the commercials? I've used Castrol Synthetic before and that seemed pretty good.

I use mobil 1 synthetic. You wont feel a difference with the synthetic, it protects the engine better than regular oil.

I'm running 10w-30 Castrol Synthetic Blend. Thats what has been in the car since it was off the line. Had no problems with it

I run Mobil 1 5w-30 full synthetic, but thinking about going back to just a regular 5w-30.

Why would you go back to regular? Synthetic is so much better and lasts longer.

I use castrol Syntec 5w-20. I use royal purple in my transmission and when I change my gears in the rear I will use it too. I would use it in my engine too but its too expensive and I change the oil too often.

Hey Code, I thought once you use sythetic oil you shouldnt or couldnt go back to conventional oil. Mabye its just one of those myths.

Alot of reports are out showing more blow by caused by synthetics, especially in the mod motors.

does anyone use the MObil 1 5000, 7500, i think its 10,000 or 15000 mile oil? I wouldnt want to have the same oil in my car for 10,000 miles, sure the oil doesnt break down but, the crapp still stays in the oil and becomes abbrasives.
