Hey guys, i was wondering... If im planning on putting a KB blower on my mustang, should i even bother putting in new gears if i have instant boost? Or maybe 3.73's? Seems like 4.10's would be too much if i run anything higher than 4 boost ha. Thanks in advance~

your getting the KB 1.7 I assume? (thats the one right?)

I believe you should with 3.55's

others here with this setup/knowledge on it... please chime in.

3.73's is what I would be going with if I got a KB.

3.73's for a twin screw sc
4:10's for everything else(na, turbo, nitrous, centrifical s/c's)

yeah, i wouldn't go higher than a 3.73. them things are going to pull you back like no other since you're instantly making boost. a vortech or procharger, you won't until you get high in the RPMs.

im gonna be using my 3.90s with the saleen blower, i hope that isnt too much. guess ill find out

Thanks for the insight guys, think I'll go with something somewhere near the 3.73's or lower.

I personally think the 3.55's would be best for all around, IMO of course.

It really all depends on what boost you run. I wouldnt go any higher than 3.55's on a GT. I have the stock 3.55's in my Cobra and 18 lbe of boost out of my KB and I roll 1st and second over in the matter of tenths of seconds.
