Why is a 99 gt 0-60 time quicker than a 04 gt..??? specs show the 99 5.5 0-60 and the 04 6.0..???
Hope this isn't a dumb question..thanks guys..

You've got some decent gains on those mods. I hope to see the same someday.

I'm thinking it has to do with the transmissions, seeing as the 99 had the T-45 and the 04 has the T-3650

Has to do with diff magazines and diff drivers/conditions.

5.5 is accurate for a stock 99+ GT

quick question about 0-60 time for someone edumacated

in teh 1/4 ET

the better the traction, (ie, lower 60') the lower the ET
and the more spin (ie, higher 60') the higher the ET

how does this work with 0-60 time?

more spin = getting to 60 slower or faster?
or does dumping the clutch with some HOT EXSPENSIVE DR's and ripping right off the line = better times to 60?

5.5 is quick...I can only assume both cars were manuals tested?

It's a combination of both. Small amounts of wheel spin will be better than completely bogging.

Ideally, some DR's with a hard launch will get ya a better 60. Combined with LCA's...
