Noise from leather seats

Noise from leather seats
I have a 2004 GT with the dark leather interior. When I drive by myself, there is no noise, however when someone sits in the front passenger seat, there was a noise from the leather seat rubbing against the door. I thought it was strange and found that the seat always touches the door when the door is closed. Someone in the seat just makes the seat move as I drive causing the noise.
Is this an issue for everyone? Is this just a defect with my Mustang? Is there some sort of adjustment I can make to the seat to stop this? Thanks for any help.

Doesn't happen in mine.
When I have no passenger, the seat belt buckle likes to rattle on the door and I contemplate swerving into a large tree out of rage.

RE: Noise from leather seats
With or without a person in the passenger seat, the seat itself (the leather) should not come in direct contact with the door...check to see if the padding inside the leather hasn't completely lost its shape...otherwise...I dunno.
