Default rotors

before buying a set of rotors i need some opinions....i was going to buy cross drilled and slotted, but ive only been hearing negative feed back about them. I am now leaning more towards the power slot rotors...any feedback?? or what you prefer??

cross-drilled was invented for track use. The holes cool down brakes when your at the track. There's nothing really wrong with them but they really dont do anything for daily driver cept look good. Slotted rotors are much better. The slots release the gas the builds up when you brake causing more efficent braking.

SLP LT's dang... musta set you back a pretty penny. Are they good?

THEY ARE AWSOME!!! Yeah, i could never imagine spending the type of money i did on l/t headers, but honestly i wouldn't rather get any other kind. They look so sweet and sound even better. I'd definately recommend them if you were looking into getting longtubes, thats of course if you dont plan on modding for a while after that

you probably won't be track racing where you need slotting and cross drilled. the best stopping performance comes from an upgraded rotor (vented), biggest you can get behind the wheels. then get some quality pads, i've heard great things about Satisfied peformance pads.

Problem with slotting is that if you use the wrong pad, the slots eat away at the pad. under extreme braking and outgassing, the crossdrilling can develop cracks.

rb stang....id definately recommend getting the LSD and gears before headers. I mean yeah the slp longtubes make a mean exhaust system...but the gains honestly worth what they cost...whereas you'll probly spend less for what you want to do now and shave off a good time at the track!! up to you though....either way wouldnt be bad...or both.....
