Default Clutch pedal adjustment

Is there a way to reduce the clutch pedal travel? It seems like my clutch pedal is about a foot from the floorboard. I don't necessarily want to adjust where the clutch engages, just lessen the distance that I have to stomp that pedal. (I have reset the pedal acc. to the owner's manual.)

Thanks

as far as I know it adjust automatically when you "reset it"...other than that there is no adjustment on the stock quadrant/cable.... get a steeda aluminum quadrant and fire wall adjuster and cable....then you'll have plenty of adjustment

Climb under the dash. Find the plastic quadrant. Push the adjuster lever down, and hold it...Then move the clutch pedal toward the floor about an inch or so. Let go of the adjuster lever, and as long as the teeth aren't stripped off the quadrant (and they probably are) it will engage closer to the floor.

Default Clutch pedal adjustment

it seems like it would just re-adjust because of the slack you put in it...???

It won't adjust itself again unless you pull up on the pedal.
