Default What to do with a 4.6l mustang

Hi guys, the 5.0 convertable mustang was a dissapointment so im gettin a mid ninetys (94-98) mustang, and i was wondering what I can do to improve power, if u guys can list a couple what they do and the cost it would help me out a lot, thanks

It really depends on the year. '94-'95s have the 5.0L, assuming you want another V8. '96-up are 4.6L, an engine that improved greatly in '99.

Get a 99, no question about it. Head work and new cams made the car totaly differint, as in easier reving, faster, and more power acros the band. 96 through 98 were learning years, 99 and up are the power years, and you can pick up a 99 used with less than 40 thousand miles on it for about half the price of a new one if you look hard. I just got a 99 GT with 41 thousand miles, all original, except for the tires and oil and now new air filter.
