l think it's the first 1200 miles. l heard when you break a car in correctly, it'll last longer and run better.

I drove my new cobra like a baby for the first 500 then drove it how I wanted for another 500 but keeping the rpms below 5.

well the first day when i got the car i beat on it a little but now im taking it easy till 500 miles or till my first oil change but the car seems to be running like i first bought it. i'm really a jackass for pushin the car a little on the first day but when you have a car like that it's very tempting not to push the pedal to the metal.

my dads had an 89 5.0, 99 GT and 2003 Cobra, 67 cyclone GT390, 67 Chevelle SS396, 68 chevelle 350 and a 73 455 hurst olds modified (by him). He says to the first oil change. Ive never gone wrong, and neither has anyone else who listend to him. Its just 3000 miles, itll go fast. Be carefull about taking the car to redline, make sure the traction control is off, and watch for porkchops, baconboys, blue light specials and somkey. :P

It retards the fireing order, and shuts off the fuel. When an engine is looking for fuel and dosent get it, its just blowing it by or spining...I dont like it. I think the traction control was intended for wet or snowy contidions where the car wouldent be being driven anywhere near redline. Anyone whos spun the tires on launch and forgoten to take it off knows what it feels like, its like you threw a rod or something, only the engine sudenly comes back to life.
