i have mac longtubes and vrs o/r x waiting install. i have a stock clutch with almost 90k on it, it works fine right now. my question is should i just get a new clutch put in now before i put the longtubes on? my plans for the car within the next year or two are most likely h/c/i but possibility it could see f/i soon. if i put in a clutch now im not sure which one to pick, the car is my daily driver and will see the track. it would need a clutch that will easily take 400+rw depending on what i do with the car.

Yea, longtubes gotta come off to drop the tranny with most lt's anyways. so clutch before lt's.

My transmission has been out 5 times since getting longtubes. No problems at all with the Flowtechs. This weighed heavily in my decision when I was shopping for LT's. I'm glad I chose this mod carefully.
