Default New 31 Spline Moser Setup!

I just bought a pair of Moser 31 spline C - clip axles! I'm going to run a 31 spline trak lok out of a 4x4 explorer.

I'm finally going to try to do some all out passes with the car this year.. so far it's been lousy 2.0+ 60' times just jackin around at the track and my best time to date is 12.4 @ 114 with a 2.1 60'.

I'm hoping with a 31 spline diff I can launch hard enough on these ET Streets:

To hopefully get into the 11's. I feel like a 1.8 or quicker 60' should get me there, and with the 31 spline setup hopefully I won't be pushing it off the track, not because of a rear end / axle failure anyway! knock on wood..

I'm also considering running 3.5" ARP wheel studs:

On a side note.. anyone know where to get the moser logo axle cap stickers that come with the non C clip axles? I think they'd look sweet

if you haven't welded the axle tubes and torque boxes, do so!

Thanks!

hey I was considering welding the tubes up...

DId you take your rear end out and have the axle tubes straightened or did you just weld them up in the car?

I'm going to take care of the torque boxes for sure because my drivers side is a little busted up now..

Looks great man. I would certainly spring for the new wheel studs. I was hurting the stock studs almost every track trip.
