well, it does look blue to me. it can be from a certain angle of the sunlight, that it probably has a hint of purple. i've seen cars ( you know when you put oil into water and you can see that marbly rainbow color) yep, kinda reminds me of that when it hits the sunlight.

Before looking at the pic, i thought- Maybe its indigo blue, that has some purple to it.

But hell naw, that is Blue as Blue can get! Its not grabber blue, but grabber is a bit pastel-ish. That is as close to a true blue that you can get. You change the tone or hue, and then you could argue something... but that is VERY blue.

I think my type of blue looks more purple in the sunlight that sonic, but thats just me.

My friends 66 is painted sonic blue and I absolutely love the color... I wouldn't care how many people called it purple or the "barneymobile". I would rock the **** out of some sonic blue.
