We already have a "Gear" sticky in the "Tech articles/how to's" sticky in the Tech forum. Because it's been proven that everyone reads the stickies, we should just make another one.

maybe if it was out in the open or something. stickys within stickys is not effective.

If someone gives a **** to look at what the stickies are in a section, they will push themselves to click on a given sticky to look at what's inside.

If we made a gear sticky with big *** bold capitalized title, someone MIGHT see it. And it should show up in any gear related search.
Just trying to make this site a bit easier...

whitefox since you brought it up, why not write out a gear thread and then ask another mod to sticky it
