no these are rated for pick up trucks..... BUT I am taking them off! Today when I get home from my office I will REMOVE them and just have my springs cut....... Any suggestions on that? Is this a safe do it your self job or do I need to have it done at a shop?

I wouldn't even bother cutting your stock springs. I'm sure you can handle riding around with the stock ride height until you can afford a set of $200 springs...

the stockers are easy to cut. I did it before i got my new springs. It look me an afternoon. The only tricky part is making sure you get them all the same height after cutting them so it sits level. If you mess that up it could be a headache. i would go just a bit less off then what you really want in case its off so you can cut a bit more off without making them too short. Its really not hard.
