Guy here in town made 232rwhp with almost full bolt ons, minus pullies, on a mustang dyno. Base pull he made 225 so 212 isn't to far off. This once again is why I don't like dyno numbers.

Yeah, track times speak louder than any dyno can. Dynos are great tuning/diagnostic tools, but numbers fluctuate entirely too much to take them to heart. Numbers after a serious mod are very useful because it will at least show you if you are in the ballpark where you should be, and will let you know if everything is working the way it should be.

If I didn't take my car to a dyno a couple months ago when I was running high 13s, I would never have found out that I was making about 50rwhp less than I was supposed to be. Turns out I had clogged cats and there was a very good explanation for my slow ETs.

Track times and how it feels driving it is what its all about, dyno numbers are nothing more than automotive viagara for those with self esteem issues. On average a mustang dyno reads about 15% lower than other dynos. So lets say my car shouldve put down about 250whp, 15% of 250 is 37.5. 250-37.5 is 212.5, almost dead on. Doesnt bother me at all, car runs strong and thats what matters to me.
