Default car dying in neutral-low rpm's HELP!!!

So when i'm going the road or even at a stop my car will sometimes just drop way down in rpm's and die. Even when i am trying to slow down for a sharp corner, if i put it in neutral and hit the brakes it dies. What is the cause of this and is there any way to fix it? Thanks for your help.

Idle air controller (IAC)

The IAC is a valve attached to your throttle body to regulate the idle rpm. Some people have luck with just cleaning it with some parts cleaner, but if that doesn't take care of it simply replace it.
