Default American Muscle Saleen Wheels... Who has em

I'm looking to get a set of the black chrome Saleen Wheels, and was debating getting them from American Muscle since they don't list what brand they are (I asked them and they cannot disclose the info as to who makes them).

So I was wondering what input you guys might be able to give me as far as the quality of the chrome and such on the wheels. There are a few manufacturers that I know to stay away from, and I was just wondering if the one they use doesn't do such a great job chroming.

If any of you guys use AM's Saleen's in the winter I would love to get some input form you because we all know that's what really puts chrome through hell.

TIA

Typically, your average aftermarket wheel will have pretty cheap chrome and why they are not very expensive. If you look at very high-end wheels, Foose and the like, they have a higher standard as the pepes that buy them often use them for shows and expensive rides.

So would you say the quality of the wheels from AM are the same as the ones off stage3motorsports? Or would they be better or worse?

Mine are from AM and I am thrilled with them. Granted, I take very good care of them, they look great....

Hmmm interesting info. How bad do they look after they get scratched? I was pretty dead set on these wheels.

EDIT: By how bad are you talking, I mean are they gouged really easy, or you can just see the fine scratches easy that regular chrome will hide well?

I think its just the fine scratches show really badly, OxfordGT had some black chrome cobras on his GT IIRC back when it was a street car, maybe he'll chime in.

Last year I unfortunately bought chrome Saleen wheels from
American Muscle and within one year the chrome on the Saleen
wheels were pitting, cracking, and pealing away.Don't buy your
wheels from American Muscle the finish quality of their wheels
is absolutely horrible.
I tryed to warranty my chrome Saleen wheels from American Muscle
and they wouldn't warranty the wheels and they told me he** no
and hung up on me.The customer service at American Muscle is
terrible and I will never give them my business ever again.
Their are alot of different places to give your business to
when purchasing wheels.Definitley shop around bro.
