Brand new clutch....slipping

Another possibility is that your clutch fork could have broken... or the little bal that goes into the end of the fork where it engages. If it isnt lubed... it can mess up. It can be a lot of things. Did you get it installed at a shop or do it yourself? If it was a shop install, you should take it back. They should fix it with no charge beacuse something is messed up.

I'm feeling a broken quadrant coming on. Lol pulling back on the clutch pedal, stock plastic quadrant, pop sound. Seems to be adding up. Nice chance for an upgrade!!!

I don't have any nitrous runs on this clutch...and I got it installed in kelowna and drove it the 1400 kms home and put on maybe 3000 kms more before it went into storage...I will check it like you said. Thank you very much for the help gentlemen

You have to drive completely normal and baby the car for 500 city/ highway miles. If thats not it than it could be your adjustable clutch cable. Take the shield off that covers your cable where it is connected to the tranny. Pull back the fork under the shield with a prybar and adjust away. Might have slipped or broken loose. If neither of those are the cause then odds are the pressure plat, clutch, or flywheel wasnt torqued down right.
+1 on the clutch break in period, -1000 on the gear break in, gears do not have a break in period.

I got it done by Aamco in kelowna which is about 1400 kms away...I wonder if they have a nationwide warrantee
