Nice work! Would have been a nice race between us when I had a solid rear! You may have to be patient until summer passes but low 12's are VERY possible. No one said anything about doing this with 3.73's... thats what I had too.

Yea, I really think it's quite odd how everyone and their mother are getting 4.10's for the 1/4 mile, and most struggle to get into the 12's, and then two guys decide to go with 3.73's and nail off some times on drag radials deep into the 12's...very intereting. Lol

Funny you say that, cause i was thinking the same thing when i first read this. You have to wonder if it's just a coincidence, or there's something to it. Kind of makes me wonder sometimes if the whole gear thing is somewhat overrated.

Well when you look at it, using 4.10's in a bolt on car has you trapping past the peak of the power curve. So while you can cut better 60's, might be better off down the track with 3.73's. It won't "feel" as fast you could say, but be better off in the end. Trapping in the 106-107mph range would put you trapping at peak power so I say it might end up being worth it to run 3.73's.

There are a lot of people with 4.10s that are running 12s. I guess you could say this is just a funny coincidence.
