Justin... I completely agree, but the Coyote is a bad-*** motor! Not going to be able to build one as cheap, just the mods to make it work, due to mechanical differences in parts between the years. To make it smog-legal, as I would have to do in Cali.....? Not a chance it is worth it to me, as I have to pay someone to do the work for me. My installer has been itching to do a Coyote swap, but is just waiting for a customer who wants to build a race-only ride

I can not imagine how expensive the motor, wire to ecu, and the trans hook up will be, Your better off just boring your 4.6 into a 5.3 or a 5.4 if you can(uneducated in this area of bore and stroke) but you would have soo much more to choose from due to its older and their are cookie cutter builds on it where you know what your getting into. 4.6 DOHC bored and stroked into a 5.3/5.4 headers cat back gears tune brand new intake from filter to manifold, This seems more logical than getting a coyote, sorry just my

yea just build your 4.6 to handle like 800+ hp then put on a vortech T trim, big kenne bell or a turbo setup

will cost less and probably be more badass in the end

I'm looking into swapping my 2002 4.6 for a 2014 coyote and supercharging it with an i-1 supercharger! My question is would I have to change my whole exhaust and fuel system?!
