Default how to tell if my engine has dual cams

we are doing an engine swap in my 1997 mustang v6 we are bought a 1997 4.6 GT but we are unsure how to tell if it is a dual cam we have the engine numbers
they are 7A837AC REP47036287 and the 8th in the vin is the letter X any help at will will be great and i dont know if this will help but it is a manual.

If it is really a GT engine then it is a SOHC.

do the valve covers
A: have ribs on them

and

B: are they plastic or metal?...

should be a 2v SOHC then....
