I don't wanna beat a dead horse, but this is the only reason I brought it up. Saying a 9:1 is to low just isn't the case, maybe we should of found out the OPs goals as far as power goes to even comment, but just as a quick example a stock 2003/2004 Cobra has an 8:5:1 compression ratio from the factory, and it doesn't dog low one bit and with just a pulley swap some bolt ons and a tune u can make jsut about 500rwhp.....and they pull hard as hell down low and have to HP and TQ numbers to prove it on a dyno, and thats 8:5:1 compression. And I know you and I are on the same page as far as the twinscrew/roots vs centri argument, as this thread goes https://mustangforums.com/forum/4-6l...ger-or-kb.html

, so we can't attribute the fact it doesn't dog on the low end because of the eaton blower. Who knows maybe its all in the heads, as I personally do not have expereince with an 8:5:1 setup with 2v heads but the OP has inquired about 4v heads in the original post.

I took your comment about pushing 20psi out and only being at 500rwhp as a stab at me. My mistake. I could honestly care less if people don't agree with what I say or do to my personal car because in reality, its your own car and you can do to it what you please. I guess every shop is different, but I've had my build planned for years and EVERY single builder/tuner I talked to wanted me to run a MINIMUM of 18cc pistons and 9.5:1 compression knowing that I was running pretty heavy boost. Like you said, who knows maybe its a lot in the head that has to do with the lack of power down low, but I personally have two buddies with 8.3:1 and 8.5:1 and its a night and day difference in going for a ride with a higher compression setup compared to theres.
Its all good though, nothing personal taken...excited to see your f1 build, I plan on going YSi this winter (which just further shows that even at 9.5:1 you can run 22+ psi on 93 + 50/50 meth). Where is numedia located?

Still havent even had it tuned yet to put decent miles even on the street yet. I have my blow thru conversion tune/meth tune setup for next friday 4/20 and then it should be all set to rock.
