Are there any sedans with LS2 6.0 engine?
Sorry to ask this in the Mustang forum but I was curious if Pontiac or Chevy make any sedans or 5 passenger vehicles that use the LS2 6.0 engine. From what Ive read they are powerful reliable engines. Im going to sell my 03GT and I was looking for something with more room but i also wanted power.
I dont want a Charger because my nephew has one and its a gas guzzler (15mpg highway)
Ive read people whom had the GTO with the LS2 were getting 25mpg highway. And please dont say buy a Honda, becus It it possible to have decently fast car without having a severly gas guzzling car.
Anyways, any ideas are helpful. Thanks guys!

the g8 gt has a 6.0L engine that is Similar to the ls2 and the 2004-2004 caddy ctsv has a 5.7L ls6 and the 2006-07 caddy cts v has the ls2 in it. All of those will be in the same pricerange $19,000(rarely) up to like $26,000. And yes the ls2 GTO was capable of getting 23-25mpg on the highway we had an 06 GTO and it would get that on the highway with no problem.

Of the ones mentioned, the CTS-V would be the most expensive, then probably the G8 GT...
Of the LS4 cars I mentioned, they seem to be fairly even in pricing, from about 15k to 19k in dealer prices from what I see...

The G* GT has an L76 NOT and LS2 but they are both 6.0L there are differences in the engine thats why the 05-06 gto has 400hp and the g8 has like 364 hp so its an L76 Not an LS2
the g8 has a 3.99-inch-bore x 3.62-inch-stroke 200/208-degree 0.472-/0.480-inch
and the ls2 has 4.00 inch bore x 3.62" stroke 204/211 at 0.50 and 0.520/0.520 lift
The G8 GT uses the L76 and the GTO uses the LS2 both are 6.0 except the G8 GXP uses the LS3 6.2 motor. LS2 and L76 use the same block.
The G8 GT L76 uses a different cam that is AFM/DOD whatever so lift is limited because of the special lifters. One of the reasons why the HP is lower than the LS2's. The L92 heads are better than the old cathedral port heads they flow alot better
In a nutshell L76 = LS2 Block, L92 Heads, AFM/DOD Cam, LS3 Intake
