how much will i lose now going to 3.73's?
my rear end is starting to make some god aweful noises. currently i have 4.10's and stock everythign else. so i'm thinking of swapping to 3.73's along with the usual 31 spline setup. reason for the 3.73's is this winter the forged motor will go in, along with the blower i'll be getting, and with that and in combination of the nitrous i'll surely be trapping higher than my 4.10's will let me. Just curious how much time i'll lose currently by downgrading.

Your results will vary due to many variables, but that was my experience.
GOOD LUCK with all of your planned upgrades!!!

well according to cliffy's gear calculator site i can get to 129 with 3.73's, 26" tire and revving to 6500. and with a 28" tire up to 140. I'd hope between the blower/nitrous combo I will be in the 130 area. plus, 3.73s will help my mpg's on the trip to myrtle as well haha.

I dunno, this is just what that calculator said. It's pretty much exact right now tho it says at 6500 with my tires/4.10's I should get to about 115 which is right about where it gets to.
